Stability Yoga Class
We are excited to offer a very unique and special class, Stability Yoga. This Kinesiology based practice is available twice a week on our schedule, Tuesday and Thursday mornings 8:30-9:45am. Cost is $12 per class. It’s an all level class that offers physical stability, strength and energetic nourishment to create vitality and flexibility in the body, heart and mind. You will safely increase coordination and movement control by becoming aware of muscle imbalances and re-establish strong mind-muscle connections thru mindful movement and body awareness. Breathing techniques, mantras and mudras are taught with a meditative focus. Students are guided in a deep relaxation.
Rebecca Matthews, is a certified Yoga Therapist, and specializes in alignment and stability. She uses the Three Minute Egg, an Egg-shaped yoga prop that combines the benefits of a yoga block, bolster, belt and blanket into one amazing versatile tool. If you have questions or concerns about your yoga practice, aches, pains, stiffness or just want to try something different for your body, please come out and see what she has to offer.
